I just tried out the HTC vive, and it was amazing. I made a little snowman and gave him a hat, shot robots, and looked around in a pirate ship. 

 

I tried it out at the Micro Center in Baltimore/Towson (not actually in either but that's what it's called on their website) and if you live near a micro center, I highly recommend you go to it to try out the Vive.
