LG 34UM94-P

for 500 you get a short ass 1080 ultrawide which looks kind of awful.

a 1070 is not powerful enough to game at that resolution. 29" 2560*1080 is enough im using it since 2 years.

i would recommend to get an amd gpu like the 390 or polaris and go for the 29UM68-P. it has freesync from 40-75hz meaning you will have higher refresh rates and a overall smoother experience than any other monitor. pixel density is over 100dpi and your saving a lot of money.

a 1070 is better than the 970

970 = 60fps (lower the AA rating and other filters) 1440p

1070 = // but a bit better.

I DON' KNOW!?!?!? xD I can buy another 970 and then i can sli or buy the 1070 and ignore the 970 WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?! lol

you realize that 3440*1440 is nearly as hard to drive as 4k? even the gtx 1080 cant do that properly!

you realized that i said lower filters! Damn, read what i just said

@Sans are you ok with putting the settings a little lower than usual?

a game at higher resolution but with low settings will look worse than normal resolution with ultra settings. and even with low settings your going to have trouble at that resolution!

also the freesync monitor has a higher refresh rate and no tearing.

did i say LOWEST or A LITTLE LOWER?

wtf aperently you cannot read.

a 1070 just wont be able to do it! its a really great display but if you dont have a gpu to match it its pointless.

aaaaaaaaaaaactually he games on that too.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND we do know that the 1080 is 20% better than the titan x

so if the 1070 is 20% worse than the 1080, the 1070=titan x

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO yes you can play 4k with a 1070.

just look at this, its under 60fps in nearly every game.
