So is it worth going with 4GB version of GPU on 1080p 60Hz monitor? Also what would be better paired with i3 6100: GTX 960 or R9 380? And one more question, which manufacturers are best for nVidia and which for AMD side?

Eh, More VRAM can never hurt. Personally I´d go with the 380. Best manufactures for AMD are Sapphire and MSI, with XFX and Powercolor being very solid budget options. EVGA and ASUS for Nvidia I believe.

yes 4GB...

the 2GB cards will see max VRAM usage in many titles at 1080p.

R9 380 4GB or R9 380X

manufacturers does not matter at that level of GPU's...go with the ones that are priced well.

The 380 is sure better than the 960. The Sapphire Nitro looks great and shouldn't be loud at all and the temps look pretty low.

R9 380 is around 15% faster than the 960. 380X is 25% faster. Go for a 4GB card.
