Fresh Install

Go to solution Solved by C2dan88,

If you have upgrade to Windows 10 then Yes you can do a clean install using Microsoft Media Creation tool when it asks for your Widows10 key select "I do not have one". Your copy of Widnows10 should active via Digital Entitlement License.

I would like to wipe my hard drive so that I can get all of the bloatware off of my pre-built pc. I am going to back up all my documents and such but I cant back up windows. Is there a way to wipe the hard drive and still install the same windows 10 on the empty drive? I did the upgrade so will it be able to detect my motherboard as one that legally upgraded windows?

1. You are going to need a blank DVD (if you have a DVD drive) or a 4GB flash drive.

2. Download the Windows 10 Upgrade Tool at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/ - This is the upgrade tool, but it gives you the option to download the ISO.

Can't remember if it does it for you, if not, there are free quick tools to make it

Thanks that what I thought but I wasn't sure because there is no way to store data on a motherboard so I didnt know if it would detect my hardware
