Any LTT GIMPS Teams?

Looking to see if anyone had started a GIMPS (great internet search for Mersenne primes) LTT-affiliated team.

check here for further information: http://www.mersenne.org/#

The only official teams i am aware of are boinc and folding.

There is a mersenne project in boinc, but i am not quite

up to date on the relationship between the two. (if any at all)

Wasn't aware of the BOINC mersenne project, the website doesn't work for me right now and any info I can find about it was quite old.

Personally I haven't run GIMPS for a long time, but you will likely be running Prime95 24/7 to get anywhere in that.

If you want to hunt prime numbers, there is PrimeGrid on BOINC where I believe there is already a LTT team. I'm in another team there for a long time since before I discovered LTT. There is more choice of prime number type and the work units can be as big or small as you like, to scale with the size of potential prime numbers. It is my main project and I can offer help as needed.

Gaming system: R7 7800X3D, Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB, Corsair Vengeance 2x 32GB 6000C30, RTX 4070, MSI MPG A850G, Fractal Design North, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Productivity system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, 64GB ram (mixed), RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, random 1080p + 720p displays.
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible

Ill look into it.  Right now I am running my own adaptation of lucas-lehmer on an FPGA (spartan-6) as well as Prime95 24/7 on my 24 core system.  Might give one of the BIONC projects a shot.

Ooh, what sort of performance do you get on FPGA? I tried to look at them, but as not my speciality area I didn't get far with working out what they could do.

near that of a 500mhz celeron.  I need to work on multithreading still.  Whole thing runs on 5v @2a without a heatsink.

got my figures for CPU performance WAY off; corrected
