Messing around in Solidworks, trying to bend a part with the Flex command, however, it appears my trim planes are not working. I've tried it on different parts made different ways and no matter what I do it simply bends the part around the axis ignoring the trim planes no matter where they are, it bends the areas outside the trim plane.

Some pictures to illustrate the problem

how would defining a new axis make it obey the trim planes?

your saying the part bends around the axis instead of the trim planes. just redefine the axis :D
