gtx 1070?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Great thread title. Most likely the AIB cards starting at $379 will come a bit later.

Because waiting is so difficult, isn't it.

so will you have to buy the $449 founders edition at release date ? or will the 379$ dollars edition be available ?

I think we've all seen various reports saying the board partner versions may or may not be available. Really I think we won't know until Day 1.

Or at least you'll have a good idea seeing the 1080 launch beforehand. I'm gonna be refreshing all day next Thursday/Friday for those 1080s but if the Founder's is the first one I see I'll probably break down and buy the damn thing.

Cheaper ones will eventually be available, but release dates have only been announced for reference cards. Right now, it's very possible that you will not be able to find a GTX 1070 or 1080 for MSRP and will have to pay the $100 premium at launch, plus any extras retailers want to tack on.
