Corsair Fan Making Rattling Noises

I have the stock fans that comes with the Corsair 450D case. I have had that setup for a year and a half now. I never really saw the need to replace them with anything better, since imo they do they job just fine.

However, now one of the fans is making some rattling noises and on top of that, I have seen it stop running for about 15 sec then it would go back to normal.

Is this normal for Corsair's fans? What other case fans do you guys recommend that are reasonably priced.

Thank you.

Well, you've had the case for a year and a half.
Spinning mechanical parts are bound to go bad at some point.
Fans by Fractal, Noctua, and be quiet! are good selections.

Perhaps the screw got loose?  Sometimes a SATA / Power cord can get too close to the fan.  Seems simple, but you would be surprised how many people miss it (circling my face)
