first pc

im looking for a list capable list for a first gaming rig , i have an initial list in mind but this is likely far from reach at this point-

 

AMD FX-6300 6 Core Black Edition Processor     -acceptable quality and is cheap enough , seen favorable reviews  

 

Corsair Carbide SPEC-03 Mid Tower Gaming Case    -my friend has the spec-02 so i went with this , i like the look of it and if i dont go with my rainbow theme then the fans included are perfectly fine . the colour is nice too

 

MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard    -its going away for cheap in Australia so unless there is a better option this will likely do 

 

Corsair CS450M Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply    -same as the mother board ,pretty cheap and seen good reviews

 

ASUS GeForce GTX 950 Strix Gaming 2GB     -this could easily be replaced , for $255 i think its good value for the money as the majority of what im going to be doing is having some casual games of LOL or CS:GO with my friends and i would think this could crush them at max graphics . even stuff like more 'hardcore games' will be fine on this 

 

ASUS VP228H 21.5in Widescreen Eyecare LED Monitor     -even though what i said about the gpu stands, i dont really care to much how good looking the games are , as long as i can play them at a fully playable FPS then im set .stil, i would like to at least have something decent to look at instead of a peice of crap monitor that brings down the quality of the rest of the

components . its my opinion that this is a good value monitor but then again i know nothing more than the basics.

 

Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB 2.5in SSD     -i would like a fast , snappy ,responsive rig so im throwing this in here mainly for windows . there is probably WAY better options that this but ,well meh

 

Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003    -i install my viruses and cat photos on here right ?

 

Kingston HyperX Fury HX318C10FRK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) Red   -8gbs will probably do me for a while and this is going for cheap so ...yeah, it also looks not half bad

 

ASUS DRW-24D5MT 24x DVD Writer    -our family has a fairly big movies collection so i may as well add one in .

 

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 240mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler   -Now this is something i would cut first , i dont need it , its only here becuase it looks amazing and im planning an rgb rainbow theme for this. its still nice to know that should i need it i have it 

 

Thermaltake Riing 120mm RGB Fan 3 Pack with Controller   - exact same as the cooler , dont need it but i really want it

 

Microsoft Windows 10 Home 32bit/64bit USB Flash Drive    -windows 8 might be better but i dont really mind to much about an extra 0.1% increase in fps in something or other .

 

Corsair Gaming K95 RGB Backlit Mechanical Keyboard (MX Brown)   -when my friend showed me his i was blown away and new that i needed one for my raindow theme . this is of course ,completly unnesacery but i want to feel like i actually bought a half decent gaming box , how ever i have a dell keyboard and mouse at home and itll work just as well as this if this dosent fit into the budget

 

Corsair Gaming M65 Raptor -white    -exact same as keyboard

maybe use something like https://pcpartpicker.com/  for your list, it`s a lot easier.

 

But looking at your rig, it looks pretty decent for a budget build, although I would NOT get an AIO cooler if you`re in this price bracket. Just use something like a 212 EVO if you really, really want aftermarket cooler.

 

When you have the money left from your AIO cooler, get a better CPU or GPU, whatever floats your boat

and as for the cooler its only there for fun , and i do agree with using the money to buy a better something, possibly a better power supply

Can i sugest a intel pentium or i3. or a amd 880k instead. That chips is over 4 years old now and much slower in games.

You should really get a 1151 mobo with i3 6100, you can even upgrade to i7 if you really want to later on.

ill try for a i3 possibly an i5 if th budget allows it after some changes like better power

ok, i swapped out the Cpu and motherboard for an' Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ' and an 'Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 ATX LGA1151 '(the motherboard mainly becuase it looks cooler :P)
