If you want an ATX board, it's probably for upgradability, which is why I recommend getting a 'Z' motherboard if you're getting a full-ATX board at all. This'll allow you to upgrade to Intel's overclocking K-series chips on your platform (the Core i5 4670k, the Core i5 4690k, the Core i7 4770k, and the Core i7 4790k).

You'll need to use the permalink or BBCode share option to share your build. This'll just direct them to the last thing they had on their own parts list.

400-ish, and those aren't Euros. £ is the symbol for the British Pound. You can fit in a 380 and then some.

Not in the slightest. Maybe if you do rendering as a hobby and can afford to overclock the hell out of it, but the extremely poor single-core performance make it terrible for games. On principle, AMD's CPUs have comparatively poor single-core performance, although this is probably going to change with the release of their new 'Zen' microarchitecture. This goes double for their antiquated Bulldozer, Vishera, Zambezi, and Piledriver microarchitectures, which is what all FX CPUs are running.

So ah we'll stick with the i3. Might save a bit more and get a Skylab's skylake i3/5

Sure, it won't cost you that much more to move to a cheap LGA1151 motherboard. A single 8GB stick of DDR4 RAM is about the same price as its DDR3 equivalent, and the Core i3 6100 is priced the same as the 4170.
