either is fine with that motherboard, it supports up to 3800Mhz aparently

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Most companies have a list of supported memory for each board on the support page for the specific board in question, check there. I mean most mainstream memory from popular brands is compatible with most boards so you probably wont have an issue, but it pays to double check.

I tried, but I don't know where to look for memory compatibility for that asus board.

Usually their website is a good start. Go to the page for your board and look for compatibility, tech specs, or support.
