Custom Dell XPS 420 SSD "cage"

I was trying to find a good place to mount a SSD in my little brothers XPS 420 and thought that the Excelerator module could be a good place to mount it since he does not use it. So I took out the circuit boards and cut the one with the pluggs on it so that i could fit the SSD but still have the pluggs come out of the front so that it looks stock. Here are a few pictures:Rb6NGhv.jpg4ETwK5I.jpgwWLYBpU.jpgCROyTK4.jpgtWjz9Cd.jpg

In those old cases, you have to make the most of your mounting options.  Dell doesn't exactly offer a plethora of them. :)

Yea, the two HDD mounts are already full so I hade to either just let the SSD hang by the power and sata cabels or do this mod ;)
