I am planning to water cool an i5-6600k and eventually at 1070/1080 in a Thermaltake Core P5 case.  I haven't water cooled a PC before, but I have watched a couple videos and read some posts on how to do hardline watercooling.

So far I'm ordering from PrimoChill and Aquatuning USA

From PrimoChill:

From Aquatuning:

Did I miss anything required for the loop? Do I need colored fluid and tubing?  Wasn't sure and the fluid isn't expensive.

Be careful picking your coolant. Make sure it's PETG compatible (non ethylene glycol based coolant) or go with acrylic instead...

On a side note. I would recommend starting with soft tubing as it's easier to play with when planning your loop.

Did you make sure to try and rough measure everything and then double the amount of tubing needed? Also go with 64oz of fluid in case you need to drain and to have enough.

Can i just say that having completed my cpu, mobo, 2x980ti's and 750 series ssd all hard line water cooled do not underestimate how hard it is, i bought double what i needed and still needed more, bending tubing is hard, i lost so bends to over/under heating and there are some bends that take forever. Just understand its not a do it one afternoon thing, to do it properly is going to take days possibly a week.

Do you have the required tools to cut/bend the tubing?

Have you done ridged tubing before? (if no buy alot of extra)

You will also need fans for the radiators :)

Completely forgot about tools.  I have a heat gun, though I'll need a tubing bender and a cutter?  I have not done ridge tubing before, so hopefully 12' will be enough.

I haven't settled on fans yet.  I was trying to find pink ones and have only found red ones.  I've been thinking of going with some Thermaltake Riing fans in white and painting the fins pink.

I checked the website and the fluid is safe for all plastics, rubbers, and gaskets.

To set up the loop using soft tubing I'd need 6 barbed/compression fittings and ~3' of tubing?  I could do that.

Haven't bought the case yet so no measurements yet.  12' of tubing should be enough even with a learning curve.

64 oz is a good idea I can do that.

I have no problem spending a fair amount of time on this.  The only thing we're reusing from the old computer is the SSD and GPU.  So I'm not in a rush to finish the build.
