Cant post on (old) mac

It works. Just needed the new browser. Typing this from my mac g4. And people said you couldent use a computer from 2002. Nice speedy 1GHZ, 512mb ram.

So I cant make a post on an iMac g4. just no option in the box. A while ago I could. Not sure why.

Cant, they wont install on the PowerPC architecture.

 

So it seems like its just because its from 2002 it wont really work..

Ill try another browser that does work on PPC

Perhaps you can find an archive of older browser versions that still support the PPC architecture.

I'm surprised that it works as well as it does - Internet Explorer from back then is completely unusable. We don't support things that old I'm afraid.

Im installing TenFOurFOx now, a special version of firefox still maintained today for g4 computers

Well IE now is no picnic either.

 

BUt yeah, works pretty well, not even that slow.

Ill see if tenfourfox works

Was about to say install that, I had to use the same for my G4. Eventually I gave up on it and a work mate has now turned it in to a ornamental clock.

The g4's are pretty pretty. Hence why I have:
imac G4 15"

imac g4 17"

powermac g4

powermac g4 cube

17" clear crt studio display

20" studio display

emac g4
