High ping to CSGO, Overwatch, and BF4 :( Tracert in the post

I used to have 60 ping on CSGO and BF4 but a month ago my ping tripled to 180-200 ping. I played Overwatch Open Beta with 180 ping and I'm playing CSGO and BF4 with 200 ping :(

Here's my tracert to a CSGO Matchmaking Server I got put in today:

Tracing route to 103-28-54-39.valve.net [103.28.55.39]

Can anyone here read tracerts and help me understand what's happening? I can only understand the first line which is the ping to my router, right?

I performed a PathPing and this time to a BF4 Japan server:

For the first tracert, you packets that spike to 200ms are going to Florida in the US which explains the high ping there due to distance. Maybe setting your maximun ping in CSGO to 100ms will help.

For the second tracert, the spot where it goes up to 200ms is in Singapore. I don't really have an explanation for that.

hmmm......ISP issue maybe?

my suggestion would be to try queuing solo in CS to avoid getting put in a server with someone from another part of the country or another country entirely.

Yup you're right. CSGO should have a region selector like BF4 and Overwatch IMO.

I called my ISP and the rep said to wait 24 hours because they'll try to fix it from their end.

I pinged www.google.com and the ping averaged at 186ms (MIN: 185ms; MAX: 186ms). The modem could be busted so after 24 hours of waiting, Imma nag them to come over and replace the damn thing
