Hello,

Only my MB power light comes on and my keyboard. I tried to power just my water pump, fans and front panel and they come on just fine so I know it's not my PSU. I checked standoffs and only connected to MB with holes nothing touching it to short it. I do have my GPU in the PCIEX8 SLOT instead of the PCIEX16 slot does that matter? I unseated memory too and no change.

First off, did you put the RAM back? Both the pictures have no ram as far as I can tell.

Also, you DID build it outside of the case to test it before installing everything, right? How did that go?

Yah loop is filled and when I unplug power to the MB and just short out the 24 pin connector to test it the pump works fine.

OK, it would be a bit awkward if you have to use the top pcie slot. So lets try that later.

First, does the MOBO show any post codes when you power it on?

No it does not, which I was hoping it would, lol.

Really? How are you turning on the computer?

With the power button or shorting the MOBO power pins?

The back of the PSU.

The back... of the PSU...

The switch looks like this: http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/computer-power-supply-switch-electric-grill-closeup-34494663.jpg

Indeed. The power button on the front panel is not working.

That switch arms the PSU. In other words, it allows it to actually turn on; when you short the wires, then it actually starts providing power

Did you plug the power lead to your MOBO?

Looks like the thing that says Power SW in this picture:

I did and but maybe it's inserted wrong? I will check because I can't seem to get the front panel power LED to light up.

If you're sure you have the it on the correct pins, get something metal and touch them to short it.

(I'm referring to the pins on your MOBO)

So remove all front panel pins and just short it with the power to PC on?

Just short the two pins that the POWER SW cable is on (obviously you'll have to unplug that cable)

Yes, the power switch will need to be on and the computer has to be plugged in

I removed the Power SW and used the tip of my screw driver and nothing happened.

Huh, everything is plugged in? And the MOBO light is on? (Which indicates it's getting power)

What about that red light at the top of your MOBO (the second picture in your first post)

According to the manual, it's a power button. Does it do anything?

I tried to push it and nothing happens.

It's lit up though? And it IS a button?

If so, something SHOULD happen. Fans should spin, post codes should show up on that little display next to the button.. SOMETHING.

Also, don't forget to quote people on the forums so that they get notified you replied to them ;)
