Is it necessary to have a cooler with the same socket with the CPU?

Well if it doesn't support it, then it doesn't have the hardware designed for mounting to that socket. What socket and cooler are you looking at exactly?

It has to be compatible with the socket of the CPU, for instance it will be like this

Quote

Supported Sockets

AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, FM2+, LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA2011, LGA2011-3, LGA775

Unless you're doing a ghetto mod that is, where you aren't using the hardware supplied with the heatsink.

so not necessary cooler with 1151 socket right?

They have the same mounting hardware so it will work without any issues, just note that it was mentioned that the mounting pressure on skylae LGA 1151 is lower due to the thinner PCB material of the new CPU's.
