hey guys im building my pc as we speak but my noctua c12p fan is literally like 2-3mm away from my rear fan. Should i just move that fan to the roof mounts or leave it with little clearance

As long as the fan blades don't hit each other, it would be fine.

What could be interesting is moving the CPU fan to the roof exhaust as an intake fan. To passively cool it much like how Linus' wife's machine is.

But this is more for if you don't have much load on this machine. Just to safe though I'd switch the rear exhaust to an intake. If all else fails though I would agree that moving the rear exhaust to a roof intake would be better.
