Steam support for vive and oculus rift

Its nice that they didnt use their position to increases vive sales by only supporting the vive for VR in store filters, games ,etc

Its not Steam decision to offer those launch options that is down to the game developer to implement. I have other games which give launch options for running via DirectX or OpenGL.

yeah, but i meant that their decision to openly support/acknowledge the oculus rift with store catagories for the vive and oculus is good. Without it sales of the rift would probably decline, since it would be hard to seperate games that had oculus support, and games who only had vive support in the steam store, also only including the vive as the only option for virtual reality within the most popular gaming store would probably also have some effect on people, just like ignoring linux as a gaming platform by steam would have
