probably not, because amd is most likely targeting the sub $200 price point, where they are best

Based on rumored "information".

OP, wait for benchmarks. The fact is they are gonna be better than the current offerings. As to how much better, benchmarks will tell us. And we won't get any reliable benchmarks for a couple weeks.

True, but AMD themselves said Polaris is mainstream not high end

Irrelevant. Until we see benchmarks, we won't know how they compare to Pascal, and previous cards.

I would doubt it. With Vega10/11 pushed ahead, it wouldn't be a good buy even if they did.

So? How is linking those benchmark results relevant, to us not yet knowing how well Polaris cards will perform?

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

Again, irrelevant. I'm not disputing where AMD say the cards are aimed to be. What i wanna know is what kind of fps they'll get in games, as well as how much they'll cost.

People keep asking daft questions of how well X or Y card is gonna perform, and the answer is simply that we need to wait for more benchmarks, to get a proper answer.

By the look of things, it's not intended to; we'll see. If they release a card that can hit 390x levels of performance for under £200, I'll be tempted.
