personaly spend at least 100-150$ on a PSu yea it wont effect performance but at least you know your system wont explode tomorrow. if you need a good PSU i would seriously recommend the CoolerMaster V700.

$50 is a iffy spot for a PSU. If you can find a decent XFX for $50 or so go for that. It's a SeaSonic pretty much

I may as well bite the bullet and get this psu, at least it can carry over to my next case and will prolly power my rig when I upgrade the mobo and cpu to broadwell

That is a stupid idea, that is the psu that my buddy is running his overclocked 3770k and SLI MSI 680 Lightnings on. WAY overkill and waste of money. Just grab the Antec you are thinking about, and if you can grab it from newegg as it is on sale. Jusy FYI Linus uses a Antec psu on his testbench that benches gpus if that puts Antec quality in perspective for you.

In that case, the cx430m should be plenty: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx430m

If you wait I've seen the Corsair CX600m on sale for about 55 dollars. After some searching I found a couple of deals that are valid right now including this Corsair CM500, this EVGA 500W, this Cooler Master eXtreme 500W (although its not 80 plus certified and I'm not to sure about Cooler Master Power Supplies), and if you are willing to spend 60 dollars you can get this XFX PRO550W, All but the Cooler Master are 80 Plus Bronze rated and are from some trusted brands, and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.(The CX430v3 is a good choice too if you can't get any of these deals, and is only 25 dollars after rebate on Newegg which is pretty crazy) Hope I could be helpful. (links are to site with sale, deal, and/or rebate)
