bigining to think that my current hdd is nearing the end of its life so iv ben planing on bying new storage drives for my gaming computer.

im thinking of bying a main 240G SSD & a secondary 1T HDD but im still thinking if its worth the extra cost.

all im gonna do on the computer is web surfing, movies, games, only the standard stuff.

usuly newer turns of my computer if it's not necesary, using hibernation when going to sleep and if im gaming before work leaving the computer on during the day.

so with all this in consideration, is it rly worth a SSD that mostly wont affect annything that im doing to a daly basis?

apreciate anny sugestion on type off HDD/SSD couse last timme i bought my last was 4-5 yers ago and ben running it untill now

Booting the computer and overall starting up any application would benefit from the speed of an ssd.

also if you only would put your OS on the ssd and not much more, the costs of a ssd in your system would not be much. For 80 bucks you can buy awesome ssd from samsung 850 evo.

imo it's worth it

i spend my time browsing the internet and i think that having my SSD makes my computer feels so much more snappier

but if you have to stay hungry for days for it then no, its not worth it

it's a luxury item that can be neglected anyway

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

There is a definite satisfaction increase if you go for an SSD. Everything seems fast. Ill put it this way, if you have already had an ssd before, (you wouldnt be asking this question in that case xD ) go for an ssd, maybe 120 gig if money is an issue.

else

7200 rpm drives arent bad anyway.

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

When lyfe gives you HDDs, make SSDs

Spoiler

I finally broke down and got one. The newer PNY cs2211 and I feel like an idiot for waiting so long.

on sale $69.99

Only a 240 gb gut I am going to be adding a larger storage drive later.

Just crazy fast. It's not a top tier ssd but it really tries and it has a 4 year warranty.

Did a clean install too so if anyone needs a key for the acronis I have one I won't be using.
