I've currently gotten down to it being Appdata > Local

should be Appdata -> local -> Temp <--- this is the culprit most of the time lol

you can just right click your hard disk on the left panel -> properties -> disk cleanup

and clean all junks on your hard disk :P

Hello everyone,
The SSD I mainly use for my OS is almost full.

Nothing seemed to be filling it up. But I found that the ADMIN folder was 60 GB

But inside the ADMIN folder is practically nothing, there's 3 folders that have a collective size of about 20mb.

Is there any way to access the other folders and files that are in there?
I need to sort out some space on this SSD.
Thank you.

for windows 10: go into ADMIN folder -> click view on top -> check "Hidden items"

then it should show your culprit :P

i suspect its temp files anyway

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Stupid qu

you probably installed something that was compressed

your computer will normally decompress it at the temp folder and install it

and normally removed after the fact but sometimes it remains `-`

i've heard a restart should remove things in temp folder but i dont think that's how it works lol

Perhaps a better program is windirstat. It provides a visual of what the biggest files are and where they are. You should also show hidden files, as others said.

Ive always prefered getfoldersize because of some reason, probably because of its simpler layout without all the visual parts
