Greetings everyone I have a laptop with an AMD A10 7300 Radeon R6 CPU the CPU is supposed to Turbo up to 3.20 gigahertz but I have yet to see it go above 1.80 and 1.90 is the maximum without Turbo my question is why is it not going above 1.80 when the utilization and pressure of the CPU usage is at 95%? Wouldn't the CPU want to Turbo to gain more speed? How do I check if my Turbo is on and working properly? I am trying to render a video in 1080p and it is incredibly slow so I am trying to make it faster but it will not go any faster because the CPU is locked at 1.80 gigahertz this is where I was hoping the turbo boost would come in handy but it is not. I have only ever seen my CPU go above 1.80 one time while gaming and it only got up to 2.50 gigahertz if anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it thank you very much

Check your power plan settings in the control panel.

Beyond that, don't expect to be at max turbo often, or for very long.

Where can I check my temp under load and idle? Do you know a program I can run while im rendering a video?

I believe the turbo only boosts for short periods of time for specific workloads. A long, CPU intensive task like rendering a video (especially in a laptop), the CPU would probably thermal throttle running at the boost clock for a long period of time. Increasing the clock speed for rendering will give you slight gains, but no where near as much as more physical cores. If you're editing on a laptop, expect to be waiting for renders and exports...it comes with the form factor.
