Hi all,

I'm curious and I've not really come across the best 'maximun settings' for GTA V and I'm not greatly clued up on terms of some settings. I have 2X GTX 980TI EVGA Suplerclocked SLI. What I want to know is what are the actually max settings possible in the game?

MSAA at 8x? MSAA at 4X with Nvidia TXAA on etc?

Can someone if possible show me the best settings available?

I have all the Advanced Tab settings maxed sliders.

Thanks

just max everything out on all sliders. thats way enough GPU power to run maxed out at 1440p 60+Hz

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Well I've maxed everything, what I'm wondering is what are the max settings if that makes sense?

So I have MSAA on 8x which then disables TXAA or use 4X and use TXAA etc?

I just need to know what the highest setings are

Usually it will be obvious, but in situations where you are given a choice between two things (like 4x msaa and txaa or just 8x msaa) go by either what looks better (what is functionally higher settings) or by what loads the GPU more (what is technically higher settings)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Yeah that's what I was hoping to see but I can't see 'any' if any difference. Which is why I aksed, it's killing me ahha!

If you can't tell the difference, it doesn't matter does it? ;)

My guess for the best place to possibly notice would be maybe near fences, looking at cables on skyscrapers while driving or walking slowly - anything with very fine details that slightly "sway" relative to you over time, like the rigging on a ship.  This is where txaa is supposed to shine, so if you are going to notice, that's where it will happen.

It's one of those things where I don't what I should be looking for so I can't say for sure I can't see it

I added more details above, maybe you missed it.  That'd be my best suggestion.
