Will there be significant price decrease in the 900 line of cards when the 1070 and 1080 release?

No. Maybe a tiny one, but nothing that you can phone home about.

Probably not BUT a lot of people will probably be trying to sell theirs to upgrade. If the 1070/80 do very well with selling then and only then the price may fall.

The 980Ti already fill in price, the MSI LE is around 520-540 USD with rebates if I recall.

If the 970 does drop to around 200, that will be a great value to price card

There's already something like that, it's called the 290.

Since when the GTX 950 lauched the 750 ti dropped $30, you can expect a around $100 price drop on a GTX 970.

I don't believe it will be that drastic of a price change so soon, but there will be a drop, the 900 series launched in Fall of 2015
