Just started building a new 2.1 channel amplifier for my PC sound system.  18W x 2 @8ohms for left and right channels, and 30W Subwoofer output @4ohms.

The amp is a TDA2030 based board I bought off fleabay.  The enclosure is salvaged from an old Cooler Master 300W PSU, which was perfect because it already had a 120V IEC power connector, and power switch installed.  I pulled out all the guts but left the plug and switch to re-use since I'll be powering this with 120V AC from the wall.

To get the correct AC voltage to feed the on board rectifier I'll be using a toroidal transformer from Antek.

Here are a few pics of the build -

I'll get some more pics up soon as I get everything buttoned up.  Still need to install a fuse on the AC input, and get some grommets for the transformer wires.  Also still waiting on the subwoofer to arrive.  Going to go with a 6.5" 4 ohm Sub.  Using Pioneer 5.25" 3-way speakers for the left and right channels.
