Should i connect my gaming pc to my 27 inch samsung HD tv through Hdmi or dvi?

DVI can support higher resolutions than HDMI, since you are plugging into a TV which is 1080p it won't matter.

I use HDMI, I prefer the smaller connector..

It really doesn't make any difference. Use the connector that you prefer using.

if the cable gone be in the way where someone might just kick it ( DVI use lock screws which if the cable got kicked it will take the whole t.v and fall down HDMI will just come out ) that's if the cable will be laying around if not then use whatever no difference

For consumer level, 8-bit colors per channel, and 1080p, it doesn't mater.

unless you need audio to be transfered over with HDMI, there will be no difference, since it wont need to be dual link DVI, they have the same spec at 1080p for 60hz so use whatever you see fit. if you like the locking connector of DVI just in case you pull on the cord by accident, that may also help.
