I’m sure 5MHz on the BCLK is totally worth his time

Never said it was worth it. Just said it´s technically possible.

Hey guys from the LinusTechTips forum

I've built my own pc with this specs:

Motherboard: MSI B85M-P33-V2

CPU: intel i5 4430

GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 ti

RAM: 16gb Ballisticks Sport

And some other unnecessary components

But i thought: Is it worth to overclock my cpu from 3Ghz to 3.2Ghz

Can somebody help me with this idea?

Great Greatings

That number reflects the maximum Turbo Boost frequency your processor can attain when it needs a bit more processing power and its thermals are good enough to allow it. It does it automatically whenever it needs it, without the need for user intervention.

Basically, it does it by itself when needed.
