SSD problem

Hi!

My Kingston V300 120g is going to get broken  because Windows is showing me a message telling me, and I saw in hwinfo that my s.m.a.r.t. info says 1% of life remaining. I hav e since 1 year and a half but maybe it is going to get broken because I put my pagefiles on it and it is really cheap. So I´m planning to buy a Samsung EVO but I want to transfer my entire windows 10 with settings programs and all that stuff. So I wanna know how to do that and why my ssd is broken so early, thanks

no you do not transfer your "entire windows 10 with settings programs and all that stuff"

you do a clean install and reinstall your programs then move your files over manually

that is the proper way to do it if you dont want to deal with your OS breaking and many other issues

 

btw your SSD isnt dying because of the pagefile, its dying because its a crap SSD

there is no problem with having your pagefile on your SSD
