Server Rack

I'm interested in doing something similar to Linus by having my PC in a server rack. I've never worked with them before though and wondering where should I begin?

Is it possible to put consumer grade hardware in a server shelf or would I have to customize it?

CPU: i7-4790K 4.0GHz
Cooler: H100i GTX
MB: Asus Z97-AR ATX LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro
GPU: GTX 970 WINDFORCE
PSU: Corsair CX 750W Semi-Modular ATX

Have you looked at any server racks? There are a lot of options out there but I would suggest going with an open 4-post rack. You can pick up a nice server chassis from newegg and the likes and I would suggest going 4RU to allow for the best airflow to noise ratio.

yes, you need a case that fits it all of course but other than that it should be fine. You will have to make sure you get a case that supports standard power supplies though
