Of course - the 380X can do 1080p Ultra on pretty much all games

A 970 will kick the chit out of a 380X.

 

Minimum frame rates is quite important.  The higher, the less likely the gpu stutters.

In my neck of the woods a Sapphire 380X 4gb nitro is $250.

A Zotac GTX 970 is $280.  + free The Division.

I don't know if the 380X comes with the game Hitman.  I know the 390 did when I bought it.

Ehhh... Slight exaggeration. There are games that will crush it, such as BF4 and Witcher 3. Still an excellent card, just need to do slight tweaks to settings.

I know, but you can't just disregard AA when speaking to other people, as some people find it valuable. Especially at 1080p. Also I wasn't counting GameWorks either, which you know has basically zero downside since it's just another OPTIONAL graphical setting / library that is actually fairly neat.

DX12 tho - 970 gets crushed with the 390 being over 20fps head.
