What is the best way to speed up program load times....

Background to this I have an small ssd that is just laying around and another ssd for os, I was wondering how to speed up loading programs and saved items faster.  I do Cad a lot so loading times for some files can be a while.  What would help load these file projects faster, ssd cacheing vs RAM cacheing?

Autodesk, solidworks, blender and a few others of the ones I use are on an ssd but files are not.

dont use ram

if you have a power outage you will lose everything

SSD cache will be just as fast as an SSD but sometimes a bit slower since the files need to be moved from the HDD to the SSD first before you get the SSD speed boost

so the best method is to have just a regular SSD as an individual drive, and put your files on there

when yore done working on something then move it to a HDD to make space for new stuff on the SSD

Snip

I have everything on ups system so I'm fine there, but I have an older 60gb ssd laying around so that's why I was asking for ssd caching I could get a bigger ssd but not until later this year

just get a bigger SSD but use it separately, not for caching

its a lot better to be able to chose what files go on the SSD or not and what files get the speed or not
