So I'm thinking about water cooling my PC, but the problem is, there isn't much space in my case.

I'm using NZXT S340 case and it can only fir 240/280mm radiator.

I have i7 4790 CPU (not K edition sadly, but since I can't overclock it, it shouldn't generate too much heat) + R9 390 nitro with backplate.

I will have to order GPU waterblock from Alphacool, because EKWB doesn't make those sadly.

But will be 240/280mm radiator enough to cool down both CPU and GPU in my system? I had in mind this rad: http://www.alphacool.com/shop/radiatoren/radiatoren-aktiv/15932/alphacool-nexxxos-st30-full-copper-280mm?c=20544

Someone once told me that one 120/140 is for each component + 1 additional. But I can't fit 360mm rad into my case.

But what about 280mm rad + 120 rad on the back of the case?

So I would have 280mm rad in front + 120mm at the back. Would that improve temperatures and would that even work? I also plan to use only 1 pump and 1 Reservoir.

If anyone have some suggestions about my idea, please let me know :)

From what I know about watercooling (that is emdium/low knowledge) this sounds fine though I would try to get a Rad with higher FPI.

have you read this one?

Totally fine. I have a 240mm rad for my CPU and GPU, my gpu is a 7970 OC'd to the max it can go. CPU is at 4.0ghz, and my temps dont go above 50 under benchmarks. If you can fit a thicker rad then go for it. Also, I've a good experience with alphacool.

It will be sufficient, but also keep in mind you could add a couple more 120mm radiators to the loop if you wanted or are worried that a single 240 won't be enough.

I guess I will just buy single 280 rad for now and benchmark it.

If resaults will be bad, I will just buy another 120mm rad and put it somewhere in case. After buying full loop, that another rad won't be such a problem since it cost like 50€ or somewhere around that :)

Thanks everyone for answers :)
