I wouldn't use two drives in a RAID 0 config. If one drive dies or becomes corrupt, all data will be lost.

hi

I want to move frome a single ssd to 2ssds in raid 0. i have already created a copy of the drive. Which cloning tool can i use to clone it to the raid?

Just move the data to the RAID 0.  No cloning software needed.  The RAID controller will handle the data split and send it to the appropriate drives.

I didn't know you were talking about the OS.  Give it a shot.  You'll still have your copy if it doesn't work.

Now that I think about it more, you'll need to have already installed the RAID controller drivers in order for it to boot.  Since this was a previous Windows installation onto a single SSD the RAID drivers will not be in place to properly boot the OS.

If you boot into Windows Repair into the console and run the following commands, does it fix it?

  • bootrec /RebuildBcd
  • bootrec /fixMbr
  • bootrec /fixboot
