thats really weird, maybe your onboard graphics doesnt support audio output through hdmi or something

 

just use a 3.5mm cable to connect audio to your monitor then, most monitors have 3.5mm audio input

I know it does because that's what I used before I got my graphics card.

This is what I would try:

Uninstall realtek drivers, reset BIOS (clear CMOS), reinstall drivers.
