If im not mistaken they kind of go back and forth but the 760 is  only just slightly better in some cases. When choosing them it really just comes down to the price you would be paying on which would be the better price to performance card.

Plus from my personally experience the 760 is an amazing overclocker for a card, but I've heard the 950 is also a pretty decent overclocker itself so it's tough.

It's really going to come down to price.

I'd say the 760 - 950 relies on heavy driver optimization and once Pascal releases that will stop and the 950 will degrade.

760 is costing 16k INR and 950 also 16k. If bought used (only 760 is available used ) its 12k But i dont think buying used is worth the risk in India. Even The computer parts costs much higher in India

950 then, better architecture.

760 is more powerful.

considering that the 760 is only about 5% slower than the gtx 960, the 950 is probably a worse buy. If you have a particular need for Nvenc however, go for the gtx 950.

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

-Crapbook

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

Hello,

See, you are anyways investing Rs.16000/- in GTX 950. i would suggest you to stretch a little more, and go for a GTX 960 4GB version, which is around Rs.17500/-, and makes more sense because its faster and better than GTX 760, in all cases.
