Front Radiator?

RoKa

I'm soon building my pc (in 3 days) and im just puzzled about where to hang my 115i cooler from Corsair in my obsidian 450d.

Jayztwocents has a video with only a front mounted radiator which is also his only intake.

But does he then have those fans attached on the system fan headers? Does the PC not freak out without fans attached to the CPU headers? (Probs not)
And now im asking here anyway, what would you do with my part list?

- Intel Core i5-6600K Boxed

Asus Z170-DELUXE

- Gigabyte GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD

- Corsair Obsidian 450D

Corsair Hydro H115i
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB Dual Channel

Cooler Master V Series V750

CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN1, etc are just labels. They may work differently because manufacturers like to cheap out on how versatile the control from a fan header is like only allowing pwm or dc control but it doesn't 'care' what fans you plug into which header.

So basically because all my fan headers are 4-pin, it doesn't matter at all?

So what would be the best config be?

From front to back, fans,280 Rad, (more fans, push pull), exhaust fan?

Many 4pin fan headers don't actually provide a reliable or even any pwm signal at all. The cpu_fan header is usually the most reliable for pwm.

Push/pull is unnecessary imo but you can do it if that's what you'd like.
