I visited at least 5 different PSU calculator websites including the one from the sticky but can't deduce a reasonable yes or no answer since they are all over the board. I'm looking to add another 780ti Superclocked to my build instead of buying a Titan X. I did not overclock my CPU or current 780ti and have no plans to in the future. Here is my build, including the potential second GPU, via PC Part Picker:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Don't be such a SillyKitty, that PSU is MORE than enough.

IDK why you'd SLI tough, especially with Pascal just around the corner, I'd recommend waiting, then probably selling and picking up a GTX 1080.

Different PCPartPickers for different countries:

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Ha! Thanks for responding.

I can pick up a used 780ti for only $350 - thought it would be a cheaper and less time consuming option that dropping all that money on just a single 1080 and then trying to find a buyer for my current 780ti. I feel like no one would want it with the 980 line out and the soon to be released 1080's. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the marginal gain going the 1080 route than the SLI I was thinking about. I appreciate your input.

SLI is not always a gain, not everything supports it and it can cause more trouble than it is worth.

the AX860i is more than enough for dual 780ti and 4790k

though it would be a waste to not overclock, with aio and unlocked chip and all...

I was originally going to, but just never felt comfortable enough doing it on my own without blowing up one of the components.

if you're not comfortable then its fine :P

but if you take baby steps, you wont blow up anything

i never really wanted to overclock but when i tried it once, its somewhat became a good way to past time lol

to be fair, other than latest released games that doesnt have SLI profiles yet

games that cant utilize SLI probably doesnt need SLI to run well lol

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

This is true, and even those that can don't always need it. a single 780ti should run almost everything no problem.
