Just all run the same benchmark and see who gets the highest score?

the 2. one will be faster in gaming and editing. the first one will be faster in lighter stuff like web browsing and office because of its ssd

It's hard to say, the IPC of build 2 is better than build 1, but the GPU is worse and has less RAM. (though it's faster RAM)

I'd say it's relatively even for build 1 and 2, with maybe build 1 pulling ahead in some gaming benchmarks due to the slightly better GPU and SSD but in everything else, build 2 should be better.

I'm not even commenting on build 3, that one is doomed to fall in last position no matter what.

How about Ashes of Singularity? Since you want to specifically find out DX12 performance.

ok second one will be slighly better in most tasks but just run Cinebench and Valley benchmark and compare the scores instead lol

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

1st and 2nd are both good builds. For gaming, the 1st one would probably be better due to the OC GPU. The Skylake build would probably be faster with lighter tasks like web browsing. Unfortunately, the second build would probably not be as good for video editing or other RAM intensive tasks because of the lack of it.
