Monitors won't detect computer, HELPPPP

ragnulf

So my monitors will not detect my computer when I turn it on, and I have tried eeeverything...

Yesterday I connected my PC, monitor and TV to a HDMI splitter so the same picture will appear on both of the monitor and TV (I connected my PC to the input channel, and my monitor on output 1 and TV on output 2 on the HDMI splitter.) It all seamed to work fine, but later the left monitor turned black (I use two monitors.)

Today when I turned the PC on again, the problem was still there. I have seriously tried everything. Removing the hdmi-splitter, tried other cables, laptop, changed graphic card... (I do by the way have two Radeon 5770 graphic cards in my computer, old I know...)

The only thing that works is when I connect an VGA cable between the monitors and laptop. The HDMI and DVI inputs does not work. I can't figure out if it's the monitors, cables or PC that is the issue.

Please help :(
