Windows 8 Key

So i have a windows 8 key, but apparently you cant use a windows 8 key on a windows 8.1 download. Were the heck can i get a windows 8 download? My PC can only use USB and i dont even have a windows 8 disk. 

Main PC |CPU - i7-6700k|GPU - R9 290x tri-x 4gb|RAM - 16gb ddr4|MOBO - MSI z170 - A PRO|HDD - WD 1TB/240gb Sandisk |PSU - 700w Raidmax

Laptop |CPU - i7 4720hq|GPU - 960m 2gb|Ram - 8gb 2x4|Model - y50-70 Touch|SSD - 240gb Patriot drive|Display - 1920x1080 IPS touch

yea all i could find on TPB was windows 8.1

its not all for illegal stuff, my buddy puts his albums on kickass. or just old files you need you cant get online anymore. like old game patches you want to downgrade to and stuff.

Sadly I don't know what to recommend where to download it from. 

 

It's almost as if people want to make it harder for people to actually buy their stuff, you got a key but can't even use it. And they still wonder why people pirate stuff

It should still work on Windows 10.

 

Or you can try to contact Microsoft and complain.

Oh ok, so apparently Microsoft updated it so you can use 8 keys on 8.1. Wow ok ty Microsoft im an idiot. Got it working and installing right now. Thanks for everyone help though :D
