You will also be able to overclock the MSI GTX 970 4gb BIG TIME.You will be able to double its power! :)

WHAT/!? This is a huge lie. That's impossible maybe 15% -  20% if you are lucky. The 390 almost always beats a 970 even if it's OCed. Don't trust this advice

bit of a nvidea fan boy, but have been leaning to the r9 390 for the last week too. the dx 12 and evtra v ram for the future just incace

The MSI GTX 970 has a beefier heatsink and just has a better cooling system in general. The fans only start spinning when the card reaches 60 degrees C which makes it easier on the motor.

The i5 6600k won't bottleneck the titan x as long as you overclock it. And please quote people when you answer them.

The Titan X is a waste of money. The 980 will last your for a long time maybe 3-4 years.

You say that now, but you won't once new architectures are out. Even so, you'll never utilize the extra VRAM in a generic use-case scenario.

If you are going to upgrade soon wait for Pascal/Polaris as it should bring huge improvments. I'd recommend waiting to build until June when they come out. You should be able to afford a 1080/Whatever the next Fury will be called

And with that CPU cooler, you won't be able to overclock that CPU that much. It will overheat.
