Pokemon Showdown App Review

SlipperyPete

Hey guys. This is my second review and I will be reviewing the pokemon showdown app. Now before you get excited , run to the app store and try to find it I'll tell you this. You won't. It isn't an official app it was made by some nerds somewhere and works great-ish. You can sign into and create an account, save teams and battle friends (makes physics class go by much quicker). You can battle people on or off the app and your teams save to your phones cache. It works well and doesn't kill your battery in the process.

This isn't an official app so there are some issues.

Cons
*Double battles don't work.
*Lackluster animations.
*Updates must be manually installed.
*Stats differ on the app by a few points(speed, spa, spd, etc.)

That's about it. If you are looking for pokemon at its core and are willing to deal with a few bugs it is totally worth a look. I rate 8/10 for the fact that the gameplay is solid and fun.
And of course here's the link.

BTW THIS ONLY WORKS ON ANDROID

Is the app noticeably worse than the website?

Not by much. Theresistor are no Isle animations. It reminds me of sapphire and Ruby animations and visuals. So not bad.
