Hi! I ordered 4gb hyperx savage 2400mhz, xmp, cl11 but my motherboard asus 970 pro gaming support only 2133mhz. Will this cause a problem? And I wanted to order next week 2x8gb same hyperx savage but 1600mhz, xmp, and cl9.. will this mixed cl's and frequencies work together?

Stick to 1600mhz and CL9 when setting them up in the BIOS once you get the 2nd set and you shouldn't have any problems. why go for such different kits?

Edit

You motherborad will auto set the first set to 2133mhz at best without setting an overclock.

PS

from what i rember reading. anything over 1600mhz doenst really help much outside of AMD APU's or benchmark's. IMO the 2400mhz kit is a waist.

If you set XMP it will increase the bus speed to compensate for the lack of a 2400mhz divider.
