JonnyGuru's final rating shouldn't determine the quality of a product. He even points out the below average (aka crap) ripple suppression and the capacitors are low rated Chinese ones. We're talking below CX quality here.

 

Oh, and it doesn't even have 80+ Bronze efficiency. Something that all decent PSUs should at least have.

These EVGA Whites are worse than the Corsair CX series (you know, the one everyone jokes about blowing up?) and they're recommended for office PCs only - they're cheap for a reason and are not suitable for a gaming rig.

I never said the CX series were absolute crap. I only used them as a comparison because everyone knows that they're not really good. Just a simple way to express the quality of a product without going into the capacitors, OEM, soldering, ripple suppression, voltage regulation blah, blah, blah.
