I have the EVGA supernova G2 750, and I had no problems at all.

Sometimes you have to force it in. There is an "L" shaped thingy on the connector. Orient it where SSD has it. Then connect it.

As far as I remember It didn't require a lot of force. 

Are you talking about sata power?
