New PC for best friend

My best friend wants a new pc. A couple years ago he did a prebuild order with a gtx 770 and a intel i5. This time he wanted to go bigger and had a budget of $1500. I told him this time lets do custom and I will build it for you and ship it. We ordered everything we needed off amazon and I am throwing in some of my spare parts for free. What do you guys think. I prebuilt one to compare to what he is getting from me.

I went with 4 core skylake instead of 6 because he doesn't multi task. Do you think this is the right choice?

Yes, the 6 core stuff is only useful if he wants to edit vids and render and stuff.

My Rig:

Xeon E5 1680 V2 @ 4.5GHz - Asus Rampage IV Extreme X79 Mobo - 64GB DDR3 1600MHz - 8 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile - CAS 10-10-10-27 - AMD Radeon RX 6700XT Sapphire Pulse 12GB - DeepCool E-Shield E-ATX Tempered Glass Case - 1 x 1TB Crucial P1 NVMe SSD - BeQuiet Straight Power 11 850W Gold+ Quad rail - Fractal Design Celsius S36 & 6 x 120mm silent fans - Lenovo KBBH21 - Corsair Glaive RGB Pro - Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

Monitors - 3 x Acer Nitro 23.8" 1080p 75Hz IPS 1ms Freesync Panels = AMD Eyefinity @ 75Hz

Yea I think with a 280 mm rad I can get more single core performance out of an overclocked 6700k. Anyone have experience overclocking these? What clockspeeds am I looking at with a corsair H110i?

I dont have experience in overclocking them at all but I would say it would stay stable at 4.5GHz minimum easy.

That's what I am hoping. I just don't have a ton of time to mess with it so I wanna dial in something safe and tweak it later. I am thinking 4.2-4.3 and no voltage changes if I get the right chip.
