I've installed GlassWire since Linus talked about it in whatever video it was (don't remember)

I like the software a lot but I've got one problem, that is it's high RAM usage.

has anyone had the issue too?

That looks a little high to me aswell... Did you install it just now? Maybe it's running a scan or something like that?
How is it behaving if you reboot in terms of memory consumption?

Maybe it's consuming that much RAM because you use your network a lot? Some kind of cache it's creating to monitor and give you detailed information about your activity?

Edit : I haven't actually tried the software yet so i'm not familiar with it. I'm just guessing why it sucks so much RAM.

Glasswire here uses only 15-16Mb, i'm on windows 7 btw so that ram useage is not exacly normal.

It is possible it is caching a lot of stuff, but even then that's not normal.

Maybe reinstalling it solves the problem.

@MimigaKing  Can you go to the top left GlassWire menu and choose "About" and let me know what version you're using?  We released an update recently.  Perhaps installing our update and using the "clean install" option will help.

Hey there Jon, I just came back home to this. Thanks for the help

@JonGW it keeps growing over time. Seems to be a memory leak issue

@MimigaKing I just messaged you to see if you'd help us test a new version with instructions on how to email us (the email address on our contact page).  If you'd consider testing we'd really appreciate it.  We think the memory usage is related to Bittorrent activity.
