CMStorm V8 Gts

Festive

So, I got a new CPU cooler, the Cooler Master V8 Gts, how good do you know this cooler to be or how bad? Do you have any experience with it or have you heard anything about this cooler? So far it is doing better than my old H80i which I'm happy about.

I have it for a year or 2 now, its cools really good (4770k stock at max load is about 45-50c) but it CAN be loud

The H80i should be waaay better, it kept my 3770K at 5.0Ghz 1.29v under 85c

Let's agree to disagree

Well the H80i kept my 6600k at 27-30c idle and now the V8 GTS is keeping my 6700k at around 21-23 idle and load temps are cooler as well.

Your ambient it under 20C? V8 GTS is good cooler, but rather pricey compared to other air coolers of same size and performance. Since its priced quite close to smaller AIOs, it also falls behind to them.

Well, them there's something wrong with your temp sensors. Idle is normally about 5C above ambient.
